A silk wool fiber blend will have the springiness or elasticity of wool with the softness, strength and sheen of silk. You might want to consider using a wool silk fiber blend for projects meant for people who are sensitive to the perceived scratchiness of wool but are not actually allergic to it, because the blend will feel much softer than the wool would feel on its own.
