Tencel®

Tencel® is the trademarked name for lyocell, which is a eco-friendly, sustainably-produced fiber made from wood. Tencel fiber is shiny, lustrous, and easy to dye, as well as being fairly easy to spin.

Tencel is stronger than cotton or viscose, and does not lose its strength when wet. Tencel fiber has more stretch than cotton but less than viscose.
