If you don’t find what you’re looking for on eBay, check out the Suffolk roving at Paradise Fibers. They often have an excellent selection.

Like most down wools, Suffolk wool does not felt easily and is long-wearing. These qualities make yarn spun from Suffolk fiber ideal for socks. If you’re buying raw, unwashed Suffolk wool, keep in mind that Suffolk fleeces are fairly greasy, so after washing, the fleece will have significantly less mass that than unwashed fleece.
